Managing High-Cost Physician-Administered Drugs: A Payer Perspective

Learn the latest about how payers plan to manage ever-increasing oncology drug costs.

Specialty drug spend is expected to more than quadruple by 2020, reaching approximately $400 billion a year. Roughly half of that spend is for physician-administered drugs, driven largely by oncology. What options are payers considering to control access and costs? What are the implications for manufacturers?

Presentation features findings from in-depth, hour-long interviews with 14 Medical Directors from BioMedical Insights’ managed care organization (MCO) panel.

The Webinar was presented in July 2014.
